Tomcat is a glider for intermediate to experienced pilots. Tomcat is an expert for the flight of sustained slope type F3F. The wings have shutters and fins for all types of mixes for figures and precise landings. The fuselage is carbon reinforced at the root and a few strands are present at edge. Carbon ribbons reinforce the rear beam.
Tomcat is part of a new generation of compact, precision, full composite, hollow molded sailplanes. This new generation of sailplanes are designed and built to be extremely lightweight with great strength and full competition capabilities. Clean, efficient designs are sure to satisfy the most demanding pilots. The strong and lightweight canopy gives easy radio and battery access. If you have the mixing capabilities, combinations of ailerons and flaps can be us increase the soaring and speed capabilities. The elliptical planform supports a very large speed envelope, with no nasty habits at low speed. The wing is two part, with a carbon joiner and a removable horizontal tail. The wings and fuse are ready for your plug and play harness setup, allowing for super fast assembly on the slopes. The fit and finish of the Tomcat is similar to much more expensive models, yet it still has an industry leading level of value.
Available in 4 Versions:
Fiberglass+Carbon Standard Version: Standard hollow molded fiberglass construction reinforced with carbon fiber which gives adequate stiffness and torsion stability with lower weigh and cost. Highly recommended for sport flying.
Carbon Version: Wings built using full carbon cloth as well as fuselage reinforced with carbon from leading edge of the wing to the tail. This configuration gives the model enormous stiffness and torsion stability.
The first two versions are available in stock. Besides, we have Light Carbon Version(less weight) and Double Carbon Version(with two layers of carbon), the last two versions are customized.

Another important thing is about the surface of airplane: RCRCM airplane is fully moulded, Mould precision ensures that each airplane has a complete aerodynamic layout. Yet in the process of composite airplane production, there seldom causes little tiny air bubbles, slight cloth grain, it shouldn’t be regard as a quality issue if it doesn’t affect flight.
About how to storage airplane in case you don’t fly it for a long time: It is better to keep airplane vertical hanging. Never give stress onto airplane surface, so as to avoid deformation.
