RCRCM 2900mm F3F Glider – Strega
The Strega makes for an excellent F3F sport model. If looking for something that's fast and can maintain energy on it's turns, then Strega is for you!! The elliptical planform supports a very large speed envelope, with no nasty habits at low speed. The wing is two part, with a carbon joiner and a removable V-Tail. The wings and fuse are ready for your plug and play multiplex setup, allowing for super fast setups at the field or slope. The fit and finish of the Strega is similar to much more expensive models, yet it still has an industry leading level of pre-assembly!
Supported by a large carbon wing joiner, the plug-in wings are of elliptical plan form which has been optimized to give a compromise between good lift distribution without the attendant tip stalling behavior sometimes seen in truly elliptical plan forms. Fin and tailplane sections are also of advanced symmetrical design and have no drag bucket at any speed. Glider for experienced pilots, Strega offers outstanding performance and excellent thermal flight qualities. It is also able to pick up speed, to convince you. It is able to fly in virtually all conditions and it is equipped with ailerons, flaps and a motor. All surfaces are pre-painted in the molds for flawless external finish. The whole model uses live hinges and wipers for control surfaces. From its super-efficient V-Tail, to its new larger diameter nose area, this little guy was built for fun!
Available in 4 Versions:
Fiberglass+Carbon Standard Version: Standard hollow molded fiberglass construction reinforced with carbon fiber which gives adequate stiffness and torsion stability with lower weigh and cost. Highly recommended for sport flying.
Carbon Version: Wings built using carbon cloth as well as fuselage reinforced with carbon from leading edge of the wing to the tail. This configuration gives the model enormous stiffness and torsion stability.
The first two versions are available in stock. We also can produce two custom versions; Light Carbon Version (less weight) and Double Carbon Version (with two layers of carbon).

Another important thing about the surface of the glider: this RCRCM glider is fully moulded. Mould precision ensures that each glider has a complete aerodynamic layout but in the process of composite production, there is a slight chance of very tiny air bubbles or slight cloth grain. In the unlikely event that these small imperfections exist, they do not affect the structural strength or flight performance.
Glider long term storage: Hang glider vertically to reduce the stress on the glider surfaces to avoid deformation that could adversely affect flight performance and trim.
