DESCRIPTION

RCRCM 3200mm EDF Glider – Slice

Hello friends, I want to share with you my latest and most exciting glider design I have ever made….the SLICE!

It is a unique and versatile glider powered by a 90mm ducted fan inside. it was a great challenge for me to design this type of glider considering the difficulty of installing an EDF inside the fuselage.

Of course, the customers will can choose to fly only on the slope without propulsion or with an engine in the nose.

Let's talk about the Slice...it has a 3.20m wingspan and the fly weight is 4500 grams (EDF - Lipo bat included), it has a F3B wing´s profile, therefore, it makes it a true high performance ship...you can Fly at the speed you want to go...super stable in turns, acceleration, very good performance in  aerobatics and incredible for thermal flight makes it a super glider for sports flight.

Manufactured with the best composite materials and special resins, give the Slice hardness necessary in order to demand their full potential. Pilots will have a truely exiting glider in their hand to enjoy in any kind of flight´s style.

Carbon Version: Wings built using carbon cloth as well as fuselage reinforced with carbon from leading edge of the wing to the tail. This configuration gives the model enormous stiffness and torsion stability. 

Double Carbon Version: With two layers of carbon fabric in the wings and fuselage, makes it very stiff with high strength.

Paint Scheme is also available in a wide range of colors, besides standard color scheme presents on this website and can also include some other color schemes.

Another important thing about the surface of the glider: this RCRCM glider is fully moulded. Mould precision ensures that each glider has a complete aerodynamic layout but in the process of composite production, there is a slight chance of very tiny air bubbles or slight cloth grain. In the unlikely event that these small imperfections exist, they do not affect the structural strength or flight performance.

Glider long term storage: Hang glider vertically to reduce the stress on the glider surfaces to avoid deformation that could adversely affect flight performance and trim.
